Javan Lapwing

Gorgeous illustration! And such a shame it's probably extinct. I was already saddened that all pictures I could find of them on google images were either illustrations or photos of museum specimens, but now I know why. They are or were an extremely lovely species either way. Interesting wattles, and an elegantly marked tail. Also, I see wing spurs sticking out between the feathers there! Great job on paying homage to this awesome species.
